Low Impact Fitness Classes All Ages
The benefits of exercise for older adults include improved cognitive function, promotion of a feeling of well-being and happiness, improvement/maintenance of balance and bone density, improved range of movement, and reduced risk of falls.
Sessions are for everyone. Seated exercises are incorporated, and everyone is encouraged to do what they can.
The exercises are gentle in the main with an emphasis on moving and improving the range of movement. Such gentle exercise is beneficial for arthritis sufferers.
Attendees have reported an improvement in mobility, fitness, posture, and weight loss. Fun is also at the core of the sessions with socialising being an equally important factor for the older members.
